UK: Prince Charles discusses renewable energies with Moroccan Minister

Rabat - HRH Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, received, on Tuesday in Rabat, Morocco's Energy, Mining, Water and Environment Minister Amina Benkhadra, and High Commissioner for Water, Forests and Desertification Control, Abdeladim Lhafi.


During the meeting, Prince Charles enquired about Morocco's efforts to protect the environment, develop renewable energies and stop desertification.


British Ambassador to Rabat Tim Morris attended the meeting, which was part of the British Prince’s three-day visit to Morocco.


Morocco's King Mohammed VI received, on Monday at the Royal Cabinet in Rabat, Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, heir to the British throne, who is on a three-day official visit to Morocco at the Sovereign's invitation.


On this occasion, HM the King held official talks with HRH Prince Charles.


The talks took place in the presence of the Foreign Office Minister for the Middle East and North Africa, Alistair Burt, UK Ambassador to Morocco, Tim Morris, Prince's Charles Private Secretary, Clive Alderton, Moroccan Foreign Minister, Taib Fassi Fihri, and Morocco’s Ambassador in London, Chrifa Lalla Joumala Alaoui.
